Here's how it works
If you are interested in having Yours Redesigned help with the redesign of your living spaces, here is how it works:
- Contact us to make an appointment for an initial consultation. During our visit we spend time getting to know you by asking a variety of questions to learn your personal style and how your family uses the home. As we come to know your style and preferences we will be able to arrange the rooms for your family, by including your cherished objects, family photos, and most importantly to help in the function of the room to suit your family’s needs. Our goal is to tell the story of your home by not imposing our own style, but by enhancing your taste. We understand that a home is a sacred place and our goal is to honor your possessions.
Typically we accomplish the interior redesign in one day. We will take everything possible out of the room to access the architecture and then reintroduce the pieces in the most desirable location based on the function and surrounding décor. The real fun begins when you walk through your front door a few hours later and see your home in a whole new way. Some of the comments that we hear:- “I can’t believe this was all done in one day.”
- “My husband loved coming home and seeing so much done so quickly.”
- “I never would have thought of that.”
- “I have a new appreciation for what I thought was my old “junk.”
- “When can you return to do the rest of the house?”
- Sometimes we leave you with a shopping list what we call a “wish list” of a few items that might further achieve the results you are looking for in the room. We may suggest a different lighting idea. We may bring in an additional lamp to show you how to light up a dark corner. Artwork can be intimidating, and yet is very personal. We can give you suggestions and measurements for art to best suit the décor. We will suggest where to make these purchases as well as resources for other needs. If you like we can make arrangements to do the purchasing for you.
All of our pricing will be given to you in writing at the initial consultation so you can determine your budget and how you want to proceed. Our fees are usually based on the size of the room and its contents. Hourly fees are also available.
